The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued a statement in support of the statement of the Consultative Council for National Reconciliation(CCNR) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea concerning repairing relations between the DPRK and south Korea;
  In the past there was an era of improvement in relations between the north and south of Korea. On June 15  2000 the north-south joint declaration was signed and after that there was a lessening of tension , many joint projects were pushed forward and there was a period of inter-Korean co-operation. However this was sabotaged , reversed and negated by the fascist , anti-reunification regimes in south Korea of first Lee Myung Bak and then Park Geun Hye. However owing to the
extreme corruption and dictatorial rule of Park , the conservative forces of south Korea suffered
rejection and rebuff by the south Korean people opening up some possibilities for the improvement and repair of north-south relations . Indeed this is a most urgent necessity in order avert conflict
and war on the Korean peninsula.
 However the far right , fascist , conservative forces of south Korea such as the so-called 'Liberty Korea Party' have come out and tried to oppose this .As the the CCNR pointed out on Thursday
25th of May '  Jong U Thaek, floor leader from the "Liberal Korea Party", Hong Jun Phyo who lost the "presidential" race and other die-hard conservatives spout a load of rubbish every day, asserting that the regime should face up to the essence of the north's stance and there should be no dialogue with it unless it abandons its nuclear and missile programs.

    Conservative media including Chosun Ilbo and Dong-A Ilbo are noisily talking that it is a wild dream to repair the south-north ties through dialogue and that the north might take advantage of it for intensifying nuclear weaponization and that the "government" must send the north a strong message'
  This kind of rhetoric goes against the interests of the Korean nation and people .

The moves of the ultra right in south Korea must be defeated and there must be improvement in
inter-Korean relations in order to bring about peace.
