S. Korean Authorities Urged to Stop Reckless Acts

Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Korea Asia-Pacific Peace Committee made public a statement Wednesday in denunciation of the south Korean puppet authorities running amuck in the anti-DPRK confrontation racket, frightened by the successful test-fire of the surface-to-surface medium to long-range ballistic missile Pukguksong-2.
    The statement said:
All the military steps taken by the DPRK in its territorial land, air and waters are the exercise of the legitimate right to self-defence to counter the persistent and brigandish nuclear threats and blackmail of the U.S. and its vassal forces.
It is a wanton violation of the sovereignty and dignity of the DPRK to call the test-fire "provocation, challenge and threat" in a hysteric response.
The south Korean authorities would be well advised to stop ridiculous moves of branding the DPRK's measure for self-defense as "provocation" and mind their own chaotic internal affairs.
They should clearly understand that the army and people of the DPRK will not use the precious nuclear weapons, which they built with much effort, just against the puppet group of traitors.
The new U.S. administration should not be too much concerned about the regular measures for bolstering up capabilities for self-defense taken by the DPRK, a country far away across the ocean from the U.S., a shameful behavior unbecoming for the "super power", but be wise to be concerned more about its good administrative beginning so as not to follow in the regretful footsteps of its preceding administration.
Not only the south Korean authorities but also all the hostile riffs-raffs keen on anti-DPRK confrontation moves should not act rashly.
Invariable is the stand of the DPRK to continuously bolster up the military capabilities for self-defense the pivot of which is a nuclear force and the preemptive attack capability unless the U.S. and south Korea give up their ambition for aggression evidenced by war drills staged at the doorstep of the DPRK under the veil of annual ones.
The DPRK will continue to make legitimate and responsible efforts to protect the sovereignty of the country, vital rights of the nation, peace of the Korean peninsula and security of the region, no matter what others may say. -0-
