KCNA Commentary Blasts S. Korean Regime's Trumpeting about "Balanced Diplomacy"

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet regime is making eyes at neighboring countries to curry favor with them while zealously advocating "balanced diplomacy" only to provoke sickening feelings.

This is a pipe dream that can never come true for the colonial stooges serving the U.S.

The "balanced diplomacy" was first advocated by the Park Geun Hye group of traitors.

By the "balanced diplomacy" it is meant to pursue diplomacy evenly by keeping balance in relations with other countries, neighboring big powers in particular.

This faced a total failure as Park Geun Hye pursued the deployment of THAAD which the neighboring countries stand strongly against in their national interests, at the end of offering her everything to her guardian-lover like U.S. As a result, "diplomacy of imbalance" caused diplomatic catastrophe and disaster.

It was not long ago that south Korea was beaten here and there just like a village drum.

But, being oblivious of this, the south Korean authorities trumpet about the failed policy of the preceding "government".

Recently the puppet forces have claimed that they "would put the bilateral exchange and cooperation on a normal track" and a "prelude to balanced diplomacy has opened", asserting that their chief executive's planned visit to neighboring countries due next month would offer an important occasion for restoring the relations that had been aggravated due to THAAD issue.

It is illogical for the puppet forces to talk about "balanced diplomacy" as they completely rely on the U.S. and they only move at its beck and call.

The south Korean authorities is nicknamed as "poodle" of Trump as it yields to the U.S. and creeps around the U.S. legs. How can they trumpet about "balanced diplomacy" in such a situation.

The "balanced diplomacy" is sheer sophism that had never existed and can never exist for the stooges like the puppet forces subservient to the U.S., and it is a sleight of hand to get "security" from the U.S. and economic interests from neighboring countries.

The only way out for the colonial stooges is to kowtow to the U.S., without dignity.

The south Korean diplomacy is fated to face any diplomatic disaster at the end of following the U.S.

The south Korean authorities should not go reckless, clearly understanding their poor plight of being subservient to the U.S. -0-

Kim Jong Un Visits Sungri Motor Complex

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un gave field guidance to the Sungri Motor Complex which successfully carried out the task for producing new style trucks given by the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) by displaying the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.

He went round the Sungrisan Revolutionary Museum, the room dedicated to the history of the complex and the room preserving revolutionary historic mementoes.

He saw with deep emotion the photo of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il watching Sungri-58 truck produced by the Tokchon Automobile Plant, predecessor of the Sungri Motor Complex, on May 16, 1965. He said it was a photo of great significance and that the complex could make a great contribution to developing economy and strengthening defence capability of the country by producing a lot of various trucks under the wise and careful leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

He watched new style five-ton trucks produced by the complex.

Watching with a bright smile on his face trucks standing in rows full in the broad park, he said they were trucks of Juche Korea manufactured by our workers with their own efforts and he was encouraged and satisfied to see the trucks, extending militant greetings to the workers of the complex.

He personally drove a truck to learn in detail about its performance and technical specifications.

He noted that the handsome and attractive five ton-trucks of our style were precious wealth produced in the Mallima era.

He added that the newly produced five-ton trucks proved that the hostile forces' desperate efforts to block the advance of the DPRK make the indomitable spirit of the Korean workers stronger and make them produce a great miracle startling the world.

After going round the assembling shop, precision processing shop, engine shop and other places, he gave the production assignment for next year and set forth important tasks facing the complex.

It is very important for the country to produce trucks by itself in order to develop economy and strengthen national power, he stated, calling for remodeling and updating the complex as required by the new century so that it can massively produce modern trucks.

He expressed belief that the officials and workers of the complex would successfully carry out the task advanced by the Party for remodeling and updating the complex and thus make a positive contribution to fully satisfying the daily-increasing need for transportation.

He had a photo session with them.

Accompanying him were O Su Yong and Pak Thae Song, vice-chairmen of the C.C., WPK, and Jo Yong Won, vice department director of the C.C., WPK. -0-

" US-empire of Terrorism "

KCNA Commentary Blasts Japan's Military Moves

Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries are getting hell-bent on military provocations targeting the DPRK.

On Nov. 11 and 12 the Japan Maritime "Self-Defense Force" staged large-scale joint military drills in league with U.S. nuclear aircraft carrier task forces.

Japan Defense Minister Onodera, commenting on the drills involving USS Ronald Reagan, Theodore Roosevelt and Nimitz, and MSDF's escort warships Ise, Makinami and Inazma, said "the drills were effective ones which clearly showed the strong will of Japan and the U.S."

Meanwhile, Japan is stepping up the deployment of the new type missile defense system Aegis Ashore in Akita and Yamaguchi prefectures under the pretext of coping with ballistic missiles of the DPRK.

It is about to import SM-3 and F-35As and warships equipped with an Aegis combat system from the U.S., according to a report from the recent press conference jointly held by Trump and Abe.

All facts clearly prove that the Japanese reactionaries, buckling down to realizing their wild ambition for launching an overseas invasion, have gone beyond the red line in their risky military moves.

Japan seeks to secure a pretext for deploying its SDF troops on the Korean peninsula under the excuse of "threat" from the DPRK and thus bring into reality its old dream of "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere" by justifying its reinvasion of the Asia-Pacific region.

This is just the invariable wild ambition being sought by the reactionaries of Japan.

Although over seven decades have passed since Japan's defeat, the Japan militarists' wild ambition has never changed but is being revived by their descendents.

The present ruling quarters of Japan put into force the "security law" in March 2016, thus providing the SDF with the power to exercise "the right of collective self-defense" and dramatically expanding the sphere of the SDF's overseas activities.

They have modeled Japan on fascism in haste by instituting a series of evil laws like those on protecting specified secrets and punishing organized crimes. Recently, they are busy pushing ahead with the scenario for retrogressively revising the existing Constitution as a final phase for realizing its wild ambition for overseas invasion.

Japan is crazy about the joint military drills with the main forces of the U.S. imperialist aggression army to be involved in the future Korean war deployed on its mainland, terming the DPRK's entirely just measures for self-defense "threats." This is just war hysteria to ignite a fresh Korean war in league with the U.S.

However, it will be good for Japan not to run wild, obsessed with megalomania.

Japan itself will not be safe once a war breaks out on the Korean peninsula. Everything of Japan to be involved in the war may disappear at once together with the U.S. military bases in Japan.

Japan's crazy ride on a militarist chariot will only make it fall into a pitfall of ruin. -0-

War Servants Will Face Bitter Disgrace: KCNA Commentary

Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- These days in the wake of Trump's junket to south Korea its authorities are running high fever in introducing latest weapons of the U.S. and developing military equipment.

The chief executive of south Korea when meeting Trump on Nov. 7 agreed to import U.S. latest military equipment worth 13 billion US dollars in three years and in return for it the U.S. agreed to lift the restriction on the weight of ballistic missile warhead.
According to the agreement, the south Korean authorities are vociferous that they would actively examine the additional introduction of latest supervisory equipment, which they demanded at the 49th U.S.-south Korea annual security consultative meeting in October, and Stealth F-35A fighters, Grey Eagle drones and SM-3 naval interceptor missiles for Aegis destroyer which would strike at nuclear and missile bases of the DPRK in contingency.
This is the dangerous military confrontation racket aggravating the tense situation on the Korean peninsula and disturbing peace and stability of the region.
It is the sinister intention of the U.S. to sell more weapons to south Korea under the pretence of "threat from the north" and equip south Korea with U.S. weapons and use it as shock brigade in a nuclear war against the north.
The U.S. in the 1950s supplied latest weapons to the war servants of south Korea for the fratricidal war. Even now heavyweights of the U.S. not taking care of its face as "only superpower" make frantic trips aimed at encouraging its junior "allies" to the moves for a war.
It is the domestic and foreign estimation that the U.S. has no force to threaten and blackmail the DPRK any longer.
Nevertheless, poor colonial servants of the U.S. fill the purse of the American munitions monopoly plutocrats and actively join in the moves of the U.S. master for a war of aggression with a huge amount of money collected from the people as tax to curry favor with stingy trader and warmonger Trump.
The south Korean authorities obsessed with pro-U.S. sycophancy are busy introducing U.S. made weapons and developing arms equipment to counter the DPRK, Juche nuclear power and world-class military power. This is as foolish an act as precipitating self-destruction.
Only bitter disgrace awaits the war servants depending on the tired U.S. master.
The south Korean authorities should behave themselves, clearly seeing the catastrophic results to be entailed by their reckless arms buildup. -0-

Workers’ Protest Action

The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions sponsored the 2017 Rally of Workers in Seoul on Nov. 12 demanding the authorities ensure the rights of workers and eradicate the evils of the south Korean society.
More than 50 000 workers gathered at the plaza of the Seoul City Office.
Speakers at the rally stressed that it is high time to launch campaign to eliminate evil practice in the labor field and ensure the rights of the workers.
Speakers at the rally urged the regime to combat evils, reform the society, withdraw THAAD, bring peace to the Korean Peninsula and release the prisoners of conscience including the chairman of the Confederation.
The acting chairman of the Confederation blamed that six months have passed since the new government appeared, however, nothing has changed as required by the candlelight demonstrators for eradicating 70-odd year deep-rooted evils and building a new society.
If the authorities do not amend labor law for ensuring the rights of labor, the policy for “respecting labor” touted by the authorities is just a showy trinket, he warned.
All conscientious prisoners and workers including the chairman of the KCTU should be released from prison.
The chairman of the Korean Teachers and Education Workers’ Union declared that the union would launch a general strike on Nov. 24, saying that slogan of respecting labor has not yet been realized.
The chairman of the Metal Workers Trade Union said not only the workers under the union but also all workers in the world would launch solidarity actions if the regime fails to grant an amnesty for the chairman of the Confederation.
At the end of the rally they picketed in various parts of the city.
Meanwhile, the vice chairman and workers of the construction trade union went on actions on the tower of advertisement near the National Assembly in demand of amendment of labor law on the evening of Nov. 11 and secretary of the metal trade union launched action on 75 meter-high chimney on the morning of Nov. 12 to demand dissolution of conglomerate and abolish the retrogressive labor law.

Last Days of Accomplices

Park Geun-hye’s close yes-men, An Bong-geun and Lee Jae-man were indicted for embezzling 4 billion won (4 million US$) by the prosecution.
No sooner had Park won the presidency than she demanded the National Intelligence Service to offer special fund of millions won.
The NIS donated five million won (5 000 US$) to all secretary's offices under the Cheongwadae secretary’s office every month from 2015 to 2016. The senior secretary’s offices of Cheongwadae spent the money under the excuse of entertaining guests.
An Bong-geun, former senior presidential secretary for information embezzled 100 million won (100 000 US$) and Lee Jae-man misappropriated 50 million won (50 000 US$) every month.
All Park’s yes-men are reduced to prisoners and the case would fan out to other secretaries of Cheongwadae under the Park group.
On Nov. 11, Kim Gwan-jin, former defense minister and a head of policy department of the Ministry of National Defense, who had been involved in distracting public opinion in 2012 presidential election, were brought into custody.
The present situation eloquently shows that those, who embezzled and squandered the money extracted from the people to keep power and lead a dissipated life, are bound to be prisoners.

Gloomy Land

Young people are rejected as troublemakers of the society in south Korea where extreme egoism, all descriptions of immorality and depravity are rife.
According to data issued by the Public Prosecutors Office, out of 100 000 population, the number of juvenile criminals increased 737.4 in 2015 from 540.8 in 2006.
The pupils in their teens, who have been tainted with corrupt bourgeois ideological poisoning, are committing crimes beyond imagination.
Some days ago, a 15 year old pupil beat his father suffering cerebral infarction to death for the mere reason that his father did not offer him money for computer game.
From June of 2016 to June of 2017, six unsound pupils in Gwangju kidnapped boys and girls at the same age to the playgrounds or inns to wrench money or valuables from them, making an assault upon them.
Girls in their teens, who should be respected as flower of the society, are committing violence and crime to turn themselves into wicked one.
They lured girls at the same age to a lonely place to employ violence against them and made public the violence through websites after taking a photograph of the scene by their handphones.
On January 5, two vagrants in Yosu of South Cheolla Province swiped grain and valuable articles worth three hundred million won (300 000 US$) in 40 occasions and a 17 year old vagabond in Gwangju killed a housewife in her 50s with a deadly weapon to empty her money and valuables.
The number of drug abusers under 10s increased 2.2 times in 2015 as compared with 2013 in south Korea.
The above-said facts go to prove that juvenile delinquency in south Korea is an obstinate disease caused by corrupt capitalism and south Korea is a dark land unfit for human inhabitation devoid of future.

ASSPUK,JISGE, UK KFA and BSCPRKP slam Australian PM Turnbull

http://www.uk-songun.com/index.php   email juche007@yahoo.co.uk
London 17th  of November  Juche 106(2017)
The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE), the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of Korea (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement in support of the press statement of  Choe Hui Chol, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea made on the 16th of November;
Turnbull the Australian Prime Minister gravely slandered People's Korea while visiting Asia and called for more sanctions against the DPRK . Turnbull is well known as an old reactionary and anti-popular leader. Turnbull made deeply insulting remarks about the DPRK which were quite unbecoming for his office . Basically Turnbull has seeked to deny the reality and existence of the DPRK and 'de- legitimise '  it . Turnbull is simply a puppet of and a sycophant of Trump and US imperialism  and his remarks are similar to the outburst of Trump a the UN .
Australia has participated in anti-DPRK nuclear war exercises with US forces. In the past Australia
disgraced itself by acting as a puppet and a satellite state of the US by dispatching its armed forces to participate in the war against the Korean people in the 1950s. Australia assisted US imperialism in holding back the liberation , independence and reunification of Korea.
As Choe Hui Chol,  DPRK vice-minister of Foreign Affairs correctly says  "  The Australian prime minister had better mind the business within his own country rather than being a marionette of the U.S. "
Australia should stop its anti-DPRK moves , stop interfering in Korean affairs and stop following the US hostile anti-DPRK policy.

DPRK Vice FM Blasts Australian PM's Insult to DPRK

Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- Choe Hui Chol, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, issued the following press statement on Nov. 16:

Lately, the Australian prime minister has been continuously letting out a stream of invective against the DPRK while zealously following the U.S. in the extreme sanctions and pressure on the DPRK.

At a press interview held in Hong Kong of China on November 12, he talked nonsense that "north Korea is one of the most crafty and sophisticated criminal states that raise funds for nuclear program through illicit means including weapon and drug trafficking and cyber-crime, and a criminal organization operating under the name of a state." And he appealed to all countries attending the East Asia Summit to "intensify economic and financial sanctions against north Korea" while claiming that "united and collective pressure would bring north Korea back to its senses."

His impudent condemnation of the dignified DPRK as a criminal organization is exactly in line with the reckless threat made by Trump on the UN podium to totally destroy our country, and it constitutes a wanton infringement upon the sovereignty of the DPRK and an intolerable insult to its people.

An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth is the way I ought to respond to the Australian prime minister who hurled unreasonable abuse at the DPRK in defiance of international norms of etiquette and courtesy.

The Australian prime minister should fully understand that uttering paradoxical remarks at different places and dispatching armed forces to the U.S. nuclear war drills targeting the DPRK are only adding to the sins that Australia had committed against the Korean people during the Korean War.

For the prime minister of a country he is, he should deliberate whether or not his baseless condemnation of the DPRK and impetuous participation in the U.S.-led sanctions and pressure against the DPRK would do any good to the interests and desire of his people cherishing peace and justice, and seriously ponder over the consequences that an inappropriate remark he makes could bring to his own political career.

Now in Australia there are strong voices of condemnation that the present government is providing benefits to the U.S. supremacy and arms sale while bringing great danger to Australia by pursuing the U.S. foreign policy like a "sleepwalker", and they are demanding that the prime minister clarify his stand to refrain from joining the U.S. aggressive and provocative military maneuvers and that the prerogative to use armed forces on the Korean peninsula be transferred to the Federal Parliament.

It is not surprising that the prime minister is being ridiculed in the neighboring countries as "a paper cat hiding behind a paper tiger labelled Trump", "Trump's mouthpiece" and "a second class Western citizen" who would be shy to be the second in groveling to Trump.

The Australian prime minister should give up the daydream that some sort of "unity" and "pressure" could check the advance of the DPRK which is marching forward under the high banner of self-development, and he should watch his mouth in light of the brilliant reality and the invincible might of the DPRK.

The Australian prime minister had better mind the business within his own country rather than being a marionette of the U.S. -0

Letter to UN Secretary-General

Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- The permanent representative of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the United Nations sent a letter to the UN secretary-general on Nov. 13 in denunciation of the U.S. nuclear war exercises aiming at the DPRK.

After deploying three nuclear powered aircraft carrier strike groups in waters around the Korean peninsula, the U.S. staged another joint military exercises with south Korea. And it reactivated round-the-clock emergency sortie system of nuclear capable strategic bomber B-52, which existed during the Cold War era, and is maintaining a surprise strike posture with frequent flight of B-1B and B-2 formations to the air space of south Korea.

Recalling the facts, the letter said:

The U.S. flung the words of "total destruction" of a sovereign state at the UN General Assembly, the world largest official forum of diplomacy, and is now running amok for war exercises by introducing nuclear war equipment in and around the Korean peninsula. This goes to prove that the U.S. itself is a chief offender of the escalation of tension and undermining of peace.

The large scale nuclear war exercises and blackmails, which the U.S. have staged for a whole year without a break in collaboration with its followers to stifle the DPRK, make one conclude that the option we have taken was quite right and that we should go along the way to the last.

Despite this fact, the UN Security Council, whose mission is to ensure the world peace and security, keeps turning a blind eye to the nuclear war exercises of the U.S. which is hell-bent on bringing a catastrophic disaster to humanity, thereby giving rise to a serious concern on the double standard of the UNSC.

In this regard, in view of the world justice and impartiality, we kindly request the secretary-general to give your viewpoints as to the following questions:

Question 1; Do the nuclear war exercises in and around the Korean peninsula being undertaken by the U.S. for a whole year without a break at all targeting a sovereign state conform to the purpose of the UN Charter, which is to maintain peace and security?

Question 2; Since the DPRK and the U.S. are legally in a state of armistice as belligerent parties as yet, does the questioning in the UNSC of the self-defensive measures of one belligerent party, the DPRK only as a "threat", ignoring the nuclear war provocative acts of the other belligerent party, the U.S., conform to the principle of sovereign equality of the UN Charter?

We would like to politely request the secretary-general to give right answers to the questions raised in conformity with the requirement of the UN Charter and the mission of the UN Secretariat who is holding the impartiality and independence as its lifeline. At the same time we ask the secretary-general to bring to the attention of the UNSC under Article 99 of the UN Charter, regarding the danger being posed by the U.S. nuclear war exercises which are clearly threats to international peace and security. -0-

Press Statement of DPRK Permanent Mission to UN

Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- The Permanent Mission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to the United Nations issued the following press statement with regard to the forced adoption of the "draft resolution" on human rights situation in the DPRK (A/C.3/72/L.40) submitted by the European Union (EU) and Japan at the Third Committee of the 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly on November 14, 2017:

The DPRK Permanent Mission to the UN categorically rejects the "resolution".

The "resolution" represents a product of the political and military confrontation, plot and conspiracy of the United States and other forces hostile to the DPRK as well as the extreme manifestation of politicization, selectivity and double standards of human rights. It has nothing to do for genuine promotion and protection of human rights.

It repeats the contents of the "report of COI" which are full of lies, fabrications, plots and frauds concocted by the U.S. and other hostile forces through "defectors" who are criminals and human scum. It also pursues their heinous political purpose to overthrow our state and social system.

Now the U.S. and its vassal forces are more desperate in their "human rights" racket against the DPRK, while resorting to the unprecedented military threat and blackmail, sanctions and pressure against it.

Recently in the U.S., a "report on human rights abuses in north Korea and inspection of them" was submitted to the Congress. The 3rd "sanctions step for tackling the human rights performance in north Korea" was made public to include institutions and individuals of the DPRK in the "special sanctions list". The U.S. Congress orchestrated the anti-DPRK farce by letting betes noires make "testimonies" about "human rights abuses" in the DPRK at a hearing of the International Relations Committee of the Lower House.

The sanctions and pressure of the U.S. have the extremely vicious and barbarous phase in its attempt to violate the rights to survival and development of our State and people, destroy the modern civilization and turn the world back into a dark mediaeval age.

The indiscriminate blockade is being imposed to the DPRK under the pretext of implementing the "sanctions resolutions" cutting the delivery of medical equipment and medicine for treatment and health of patients, disabled persons and mothers and children and creating obstacles to the production of educational equipment and nutritional food for children.

It also causes the abnormal situation whereby most of the aid activities of international humanitarian organizations which worked in the DPRK for over 20 years have been frustrated or reduced.

These barbaric sanctions of the U.S. are a despicable violation of human rights and a genocide infringing upon the humanitarian laws and international human rights instruments including the Convention on the Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, Convention on the Rights of Child, Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

South Korea, which takes the lead in the U.S.-led anti-DPRK "human rights" racket, as well as the EU and Japan, the main sponsors of the draft "resolution" are actually not qualified to talk about others' human rights issues due to their record of so many extra large crimes against humanity.

The U.S. and other Western countries chant human rights and democracy in front of the world. But at their back, they break the UN Charter and human rights instruments desperately as these are contrary to their own interests.

The United Nations should give priority to a discussion on their human rights violations and refer the criminals concerned to a court of justice.

It is the consistent policy of the DPRK government to continue protection and promotion of the rights of the popular masses with full responsibility.

Despite persistent sanctions and pressure by the U.S. and other hostile forces, the DPRK government concentrates all its efforts on improving the people's standard of living and providing them with a better future.

It is the stark reality of the DPRK that such advantageous policies for the popular masses as universal free medical care, free education, free housing and gender equality continue to take effect and that all the people fully exercise and enjoy their rights in all sectors of social life.

Our people are boundlessly proud of their socialist system selected, consolidated and developed by their own will and also of their genuine system protecting and promoting the human rights which capitalism can neither have nor imitate.

The DPRK neither recognizes nor accepts the anti-DPRK "resolutions" railroaded through the Human Right Council and the Third Committee of the UNGA, as in the past.

The DPRK hopes for sincere dialogue and cooperation for genuine promotion and protection of human rights in the international human rights field, but will strongly respond to the end the confrontation and pressure to stifle our system. -0-

Rong Jian: Who wins or lose with nuclearized North Korea (edited)

We publish this article by the Chinese writer Rong Jiang , we do not nessecarily endorse or agree with the all the contesnts of the article

Recently, North Korea successfully launched another intercontinental missile with enough range to reach the United States. The international community appraised North Korea with a different eye.
Despite harsh international sanctions, North Korea was able to develop nuclear weapons step by step to a point of conducting a test launch of the intercontinental missile.
So far the United Nations has not come up with any practical and effective measures of sanctions other than the formation of several near-waste paper agreements. The root cause of this situation is that the three major powers of China, Russia, and the United States have very different positions on resolving the DPRK issue.
The United States advocates further severe sanctions on North Korea. In particular, it demanded that relevant countries cut off the oil supply to North Korea. If the economic sanctions remain ineffective, it will not rule out the final elimination of North Korea's nuclear facilities and nuclear capabilities by force. China and Russia, based on their common standpoint, advocating peaceful dialogue to resolved the DPRK issue. They stress that military means should not become an option for resolving the issue, and further oppose the U.S. deployment of the SADR missile defense system in South Korea. They believe the deployment has seriously damaged the stability of the national strategic security interests of the region, including China and Russia, and it will not help achieve the goal of a nuclear-free Korean Peninsula and regional peace and stability.
The great differences between China, Russia and the United States in resolving the DPRK issue will be difficult to reconcile now because of this instances.
Can the United States and North Korea accept the solution of "double suspension" and "double-track integration" put forward now by China and Russia, is still a big question mark.
For the United States, it is almost impossible to take the lead in halting the U.S.-South Korea joint military exercise. For North Korea, becoming a nuclear-weapon state has been written into the country's constitution and it is almost impossible to take the initiative to abandon its nuclear program.
Since the United States and North Korea cannot take the initiative to stop neither the military exercises, nor nuclear tests, isn't it too much of a wishful thinking for China and Russia to desire making the impossible possible?
Moreover, North Korea has determined to fight to the death, has overcome all difficulties, has gained nuclear deterrent, and is now in a favorable position to dominate the situation.
The grim fact is that no matter how China and Russia were committed to resolve the North Korea's nuclear issue by peaceful means, not only the problem has not been alleviated but instead has become increasingly serious over the past 10 years. The determination of North Korea for nuclear testing grew, the development of nuclear weapons and missiles accelerated, and it’s technology was getting more mature.
Some so-called experts think that North Korea simply does not have the capability to develop intercontinental missiles.
The DPRK's successful launch of intercontinental missiles is a slap on those experts' face.
North Korea apparently is pleased to see the rest of the world under illusions and dreams while despising their nuclear weapons and missile research and development capabilities. They had a triumphant laughter seeing the US imperialists and Chinese revisionists stunned by the nuclear bombs and missiles that they created through their own national efforts.
North Korea's nuclear arsenal has become a fait accompli, and its long-range delivery capability has been perfected. This increasingly uncontrollable situation took place precisely while China and Russia continuing appeal to resolve the DPRK issue by peaceful means.
This more than a dozen years is crucial to North Korea. Its nuclear weapons technology has soared by leaps and bounds and it certainly established a combat capability.
Any attempt now to launch an external attack on North Korea in order to completely eliminate its nuclear forces, countries around the Korean Peninsula, including China, of course, will most likely have to bear insufferable huge costs and may even be an Armageddon.
To date, it must be admitted that the combined efforts of the five nations China, Russia, the United States, Japan, and the ROK not only failed to stop North Korea's abandoning it's[FE1]  nuclear weapons but instead became the five tactile dolls in the hands of North Korea. Under North Korea's control, Sino-U.S. relation became tense, Sino-Japan relation is broken, Sino-South Korean relation cracked, Japan and South Korea become adversary, while China and Russia become fair weather friends. The established stability in East Asia based on the strategic balance after WWII and the peace and friendly relation in East Asia since China's reform and opening up might be destroyed.
Now it is time for the reckoning. Regardless of what kind of abacus each China, Russia, the United States, Japan, the ROK and the DPRK played, in the face of such a harsh and complex situation created by North Korea, all should come to a settlement. Who is Winners and losers in this game?
I make the following analysis:
First, North Korea may be the biggest winner in this nuclear-dominated international game.
On the winning side, after risking being exterminated, North Korea's ruthless development of nuclear weapons renders itself on the driver seat. Now it has the verified capability of war and all external combat forces dear not to underestimate. Nuclear Deterrence is indeed the most powerful killer weapon a small country can have to resist against large countries, so that the big powers cannot act rashly against a small country. In this regard, the strategic goal of North Korea has been reached overall. North Korea can continue to strengthen and improve its nuclear attack capabilities, and withdraw its nuclear countervailing duty at the last minute as the largest bargaining chip in exchange for the security it has been expecting.
The DPRK's successful launch of the intercontinental missile has already broken through the critical point that the United States can endure. Will North Korea win or lose? It appears to have a larger winning side to it.
Second, China is the biggest loser for now. After North Korea's possession of nuclear deterent, China lost both its control of North Korea and its good relations with South Korea. If China wants to dominate the political order in East Asia, losing effective control over the Korean Peninsula means it will not be able to get anything done. It will further strengthen the alliance between Japan and South Korea, and provide more justification for the U.S. to return to East Asia. The loss of control over the DPRK means the failure of China's entire East Asian diplomacy.
North Korea's nuclear threat to China is a direct threat, i.e. to further aggravate the arms race in East Asia. South Korea's forced introduction of the U.S.-led missile defense system is only the first step in an arms race. If North Korea continues to expand its nuclear test, it may trigger an East Asia nuclear arms race. Then, East Asia will become a thermonuclear zone of the world, and there will be no peace among East Asian countries.
At present, there is only one option for China to shed its passive situation in dealing with North Korea. That is to break the existing diplomatic framework based on ideology, move out of the illusory mindset of uniting Russia against the United States, move towards a genuine cooperation between the east and the west. (Otherwise, if)[FE2]  The United States launches a military strike, it will be a nuclear disaster on the peninsula, North Korea will be reduced to ruins by the war and bring disaster to China. No matter what happens, China is without doubt a loser.
Third, in the six-nation game that is currently centered on North Korea's nuclear possession, if there is a winner, Russia certain is the one now. Russia has won tremendous opportunities to implement its Far East strategy because of the DPRK nuclear issue.
Russia has always declared that it is the least related country in the six countries, and its interests are the smallest compared with the other five countries. It has consistently advertised that the position it uphold is the most objective and fair to the DPRK issue. However, as obvious as anyone can see, Russia supports the DPRK's nuclear test more directly than China. Why Russia wants to do this, even at the risk of offending the United States? Because North Korea's nuclear development is in Russia's strategic interest in the Far East.
Without the North Korea's nuclear issue, Russia has no role to play in East Asia. Its Far East interests will gradually be siphoned off by China's enormous economic capacity. North Korea's nuclear-weapon policy has disrupted the peace in East Asia and broke the political balance in East Asia, giving Russia a major opportunity to return to East Asia. Russia has gained bargaining chips with the United States due to the DPRK nuclear issue, and it can use this to bargain with China also.
It is worth mentioning that Russia possesses such a huge national interest advantage on resolving the DPRK's question while it has almost no risks. Even if the worst situation in North Korea occurs, in the event of a nuclear war, or a nuclear accident, it will have the least impact on Russia. Therefore, when Russia meets such a good opportunity, it will not let it go. Maintaining the present tense situation in the Korean Peninsula and the status quo in North Korea gave Russia a spectacular ability to watch others fight it out while being able to reap benefit at any time it wants.
Fourth, the United States is the key to the ultimate resolution of the DPRK issue. The problem is cost control. If it is a nuclear disaster and hundreds of thousands of people die on the peninsula, the cost will be too great. The United States will have to weigh the consequences of the war.
If the United States hits North Korea, what are the benefits? Almost none.
Should the United States use force against North Korea if China and Russia hold that the military solution is not an option? This is the challenge faces the United States. President Trump is a penny-pinching interest calculator. Will he fight North Korea because of some universal principles? War or no war is a dilemma for the United States. The final decision is in the hands of the United States, but it also need to consider the attitudes of Japan and South Korea.
Fifth. Japan and South Korea fully agree with the position of the United States in resolving the North Korean nuclear issue. Both countries had signed military agreements with the United States, and must militarily obey the U.S. strategy in the Far East. However, if the United States really uses force against North Korea, Japan and South Korea must surely weigh the consequences and costs of such a war. At present, this is the main factor that inhibits the use of force by the United States.
For Japan, the war was a painful memory for the Japanese nationals. Accepting the lesson and the defeat of World War II, Japan's constitution stipulates that it will never again enter in a war. Therefore, Japan has the power but not the will to use force to resolve the nuclear issue in DPRK. In other words, if Japan enters a state of war, its ability to fight the war is adequate. Even if Japan is to use its existing naval and air forces capabilities to deal with North Korea, it will be more than enough, not to mention the full mobilization of the war capabilities. The problem in Japan is that as the only country in the world that has been subjected to an atomic bomb, its nationals do not have the will to fought, and could not imagine going through another nuclear attack. I believe Japan has no preparation for a war at all.
It is even more unbearable for South Korea than Japan to face a war. Japan has the power but not the heart for a war. South Korea has neither the power nor the heart, that is, neither the capability to fight a war nor the determination to fight a war. If South Korea does not have U.S. military support and wants to go it alone with North Korea, it can be certain that there is almost no chance of winning. Not only do the current President Moon Jae-in is afraid of a war with North Korea, the former so-called hawkish President Lee Myung-bak, when encountered  the Yin Ping Island artillery incident, at most he did was to bluffing a few shouts, but dear not to have a real fight. After President Moon took office, he repeatedly emphasized that the DPRK nuclear issue should be solved peacefully, because, deep in his bones, he is afraid of North Korea. Now that North Korea has a nuclear weapon, he will only be more afraid.
The role of the United States, Japan and South Korea in dealing with North Korea can now be presented by a cartoon. The big brother of the United States wants to protect his younger brothers and beat up North Korea, but the younger brothers of South Korea and Japan not only do not help but to hold their big brother's leg firmly, preventing his from charging forward.
Since Japan and South Korea held such an attitude, how could the United States use force against North Korea?

Kim Jong Un Visits Kumsong Tractor Factory

Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, gave field guidance to the Kumsong Tractor Factory which successfully carried out the task for production of new-type tractors, entrusted by the Party, in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.

He looked round the room for education in the revolutionary history and the room dedicated to the history of the factory.

Noting that President Kim Il Sung visited the factory 34 times and leader Kim Jong Il ten times, he said that, through the figures alone, one can well know about the immortal guidance feats performed by the great leaders for the development of the Juche-based tractor industry.

Seeing with deep emotion the photos of Kim Il Sung watching the Chollima tractor made by the workers of the factory on Nov. 14, 1958 and Kim Jong Il giving important instructions for the factory's development before the newly-made tractor Chollima-2000, he stressed it is thanks to their devoted efforts that the factory could register brilliant successes in the struggle to realize the comprehensive mechanization of agriculture over the past years.

The respected Supreme Leader examined new-type 80 h.p. tractors, Chollima-804, produced at the factory.

Watching with a bright smile in his face hundreds of blue-painted tractors standing in rows, he said with high appreciation that it is very spectacular and that the factory made a great success.

He personally rode on a tractor and drove it to learn in detail about its performance and technical specifications.

Saying that the workers of the factory who set the great era of Chollima in a ferment with the production of the first Chollima tractor are adding shine to the present era of Mallima with the production of new-type tractor Chollima-804, he stressed that the buzzing sound of the 80 h.p. tractor, a proud creation of the era of Mallima, represents the grand march of Socialist Korea.

Then he went round processing and assembling workshop, sheet metal processing workshop, casting workshop and other parts of the factory and set forth its tractor production assignment for next year as well as the task for its modernization.

Another revolution should be made in positively propelling the development of the country's vehicle industry through a project of upgrading the Kumsong Tractor Factory, he said, showing benevolence for the renovation of the factory and promising that he would dispatch a powerful building force of the people's army.

He had a photo session with the labor innovators of the factory.

Accompanying him were Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, O Su Yong, vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, and Jo Yong Won, vice department director of the C.C., WPK. -0-
