Report on UK KFA work made to UK KFA AGM and seminar 6th of June (extracts)

REPORT OF UK KFA OFFICIAL DELEGATE TO KFA MEETING 6TH OF JUNE .

The past year has been another active year for UK KFA .  Here is a report of our activities for the past year
I was able to resume my open and active role as KFA Official Delegate from the 17th of October last year after having being victimised in  my former job because of my role as KFA UK Official
Delegate.

In September 2014 KFA had a stall at the Congress of the Socialist Labour Party  in Blackpool which was run by KFA volunteers

A delegation of UK KFA 2 people attended the KFA International Meeting in the town of La Ouverie near Brussels, Belgium on the 17th of November 2014 The International meeting was highly successful and we had the chance to interact with activists and members of the KFA from many countries across the world

We published the book Who Are the Real Human Rights Abusers  “ in November 2014 in order to refute the false human rights propaganda against the DPRK . We also published a revised edition published in February 2015

On the February 5th Despite sub zero temperatures(and a bit of snow) UK KFA succesfully picketed the south Korean puppet embassy . The UK KFA banner and a banner which said "Free Ro Su Hui " were displayed. The UK KFA Official Delegate opening the picket said that the fascist puppet Park Geun Hye regime is dragging south Korea back to the era of the Yushin fascist dictatorship of her father Park Chung Hee. The speaker denounced the dissolution of the Unified Progressive Party in south Korea which is the third largest party in south Korea with elected representatives and a 100,000 members. The speaker said that south Korea is a society ruled by an elite who are puppets of the US .South Korea is a society where the richer get ever richer and the poor get ever poorer. Many atrocities are committed by the US troops occupying south Korea, Finally the speaker called for the release of all political prisoners in south Korea and the abolition of the National Security Law.

Also   in February  a number of KFA members attended the performance given by the Disabled Artists of the DPRK

On February 26th UK KFA hosted its first ever skype  meeting participated in by KFA members around the country . A resolution on US germ warfare and CIA torture was adopted

On March 17th we held a very successful meeting in Liverpool which attracted students from Liverpool University. Our thanks to KFA members in Liverpool for arranging this

On the 26th of March  UK KFA Picket of south Korean fascist puppet embassy 26th of March
The UK Korean Friendship Association and Juche Idea Study Group of England successfully picketed the south Korean puppet embassy on the 26th of March between 4pm and 6pm.  This was to protest against Foal Eagle and Key Resolve  and the "human rights " resolution The picket was attended by members of the UK KFA, JISGE , ASSPUK plus the New Communist Party including general secretary  and Central Committee members and also young Spanish KFA members living in London.
The statement of the DPRK Foreign Ministry and also the AINDF statement Stop war drills against the DPRK at once!were also read out.
The picketers chanted " No to War Exercises , Defend the DPRK ", "Korea is One ", "Yankee Go Home " " Down with the south Korean puppet regime ",
"Victory to the AINDF " , "Long Live the Workers' Party of Korea " and "Long Live the Korean People's Army ".
Many leaflets condemning  "Foal Eagle " and "Key Resolve " were handed out and discussions with passers by were held. One passer by said the 'Americans cause nothing but trouble and are destroying the world'.
The UK KFA banner and a DPRK flag were displayed.  A video of the picket appeared on several you tube channels .

UK KFA also supported the Appeal of the Asia Pacific Regional Committee  Let’s Launch More Vigorously an International Solidarity Movement For the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea
We have been very active in issuing statements . We have also issued regular bulletins and updates to  Members through email .Recently a number of our members complained to the BBC about their coverage of the DPRK .
Our Facebook page is updated all the time. It now has 745 likes which is an increase of  85% which is quite stupendous , however this needs to be translated into  more support for KFA activities and attendance at events and meetings !
The DPRK has come under increasing attack from US and world imperialism. The imperialists have intensified the so-called “human rights campaign “ against the DPRK and no one day goes by without the media carrying false stories on the DPRK . In order to realise the KFA's great slogan “Defend the D P R Korea ! “. We need to adopt a gung ho spirit, in fact adopt the Juche spirit and tackle work with the attitude of a master  !

This year is a very important year which will see the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation from Japanese imperialist colonial rule and also the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the  glorious
Workers' Party of Korea . Let us step up our solidarity with the DPRK and make a meaningful contribution to these events.

Thank you for listening !
