The Association for the Study of the Study of Songun Politics UK and the Juche Idea Study Group of England today issued a joint statement on the New Year Address for 2015 given by the supreme leader of the Democratic People's Republic dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN ;
This New Year address of the DPRK Supreme leader Marshal KIM JONG UN has been made at a time when the US imperialists are running wild to stifle People's Korea even imposing new 'sanctions' against the DPRK ! .In his New Year address dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN reviews the successes obtained in socialist construction during the past year and puts forward programmatic tasks to be achieved during 2015 under the general slogan Let us all turn out in the general offensive to hasten final victory in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu!
During 2014 great achievements were made in all fields . The work of defence upbuilding was carried forward splendidly. In the field of construction the Wisong Scientists Street was built along with the apartment houses for the educators of Kim Chaek University , the Yonphyung Scientists Holiday camp and the October 8th factory were built . DPRK Sportspeople won many medals. Marshal KIM JONG UN paid the highest respect to all of who were involved in these achievements.
Pointing out that 2015 is a very significant year that sees the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Korea from Japanese rule dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN correctly puts forward the militant slogan Let us all turn out in the general offensive to hasten the final victory in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu Thus the Korean people are urged to march forward in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu the profound anti-imperialist revolutionary fighting spirit of the Korean people which is based on the ideas of the anti-Japanese revolution. He urges that the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the Workers' Party of Korea should be celebrated as the grand October Festival .It is vital to increase the militancy and efficiency of the WPK , the organiser and guide of the Korean revolution . Moreover the people-first policy , the mainstay of the WPK, should be upheld and bureaucracy eliminated.
Dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN says that an ideological offensive should be waged in order to consolidate the ideological position of the revolution , in particular education in the greatness of the leader President KIM IL SUNG and KIM JONG IL and education in anti-imperialist class consciousness should be stepped up . This is indeed a most correct and appropriate line as bitter experience has shown that if ideological education is slackened or weakened under socialism then socialism collapses . Building socialism by dint of an ideological offensive is the way to victory !
Dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN puts forward tasks for building a socialist economic giant and a people's paradise. He wisely says that there must be a struggle to reduce imports and use domestics resources. This line of import substitution , of self-reliance , which greatly stimulate the economy and increase prosperity.
Rear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN puts forward reasonable and realistic proposals for breaking the deadlock in inter-Korean relations and defusing the extreme tension in Korea. Of course the right conditions need to created for high level talks to take place.
Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN denounces the US imperialists for their reactionary anti-DPRK policy and their mean attempts to stifle Korean-style socialism by the "human rights " offensive. We support the call of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN for an end to the anachronistic US policy towards the DPRK and also for US imperialist and south Korean military exercises to be cancelled . The frenzied moves of the US imperialists to crush the
DPRK prove the correctness of the possession of the self-defensive nuclear deterrent and the twin track policy of building the economy and nuclear force .
As respected Marshal KIM JONG UN says ,
As long as the enemy persists in its moves to stifle our socialist system, we will consistently adhere to the Songun politics and the line of promoting the two fronts simultaneously and firmly defend the sovereignty of the country and the dignity of the nation, no matter how the international situation and the structure of relations of our surrounding countries may change
These words are a powerful manifesto for the final victory of the DPRK and emphasise its stalwart and stout hearted independence which is underpinned by Juche and Songun.
This New Year Address of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN provides a programme for advance towards a thriving socialist country and independent reunification. We commend this document and urge that Juche Idea, Songun Idea followers and friends of Korea make a deep study of it and widely disseminate it.
