The great leader generalissimo KIM JONG IL is the great general of Songun , a general of Mt Paektu who inflicted massive defeats of US imperialism and upheld the dignity and honour of People's Korea , the land of Songun and Juche
The great leader comrade KIM JONG IL began Songun-based revolutionary leadership on the 25th of August 1960 when he visted the historic Guard Ryu Kyong Su 105 Seoul Tank Divsion of the Korean People's Army(KPA). This was the tank unit which liberated Seoul on the 28th of June 1950.The unit smashed down the walls of division,which had been erected by the US imperialists,shattering the domination and oppression of the depraved and nefarious Yankee imperialists the Korean people’s sworn enemy. It is said that the tank is the central component of modern warfare,it combines operational mobility with tactical offensive and defensive capabilities. This visit was the first step on the road of being a great Songun general.
In the 1960s the US imperialists took advantages of the softening of the anti-imperialist resolve of the socialist camp which been brought about by modern revisionism which cast sheep's eyes at the US imperialists and capitulated to them As a result the US imperialists intensifed their aggression and pressure against the revolutionary socialist countries such as the DPRK . In 1968 they sent the armed spy ship "Pueblo" into the territorial waters of the DPRK. The great leader President KIM IL SUNG declared that the Korean people and the KPA would return all-out war for all-out war . Leader KIM JONG IL also guided and mobilised the Korean people to fight against the US imperialists .Comrade KIM JONG IL said
Well,
I will not release the crew of the Pueblo unless the Americans submit
a letter of surrender. And since the ship is our booty, I will not
return it even if they present a letter of surrender to us.
As a result the US imperialists had no choice but to write a letter of apology in order to secure the return of the crew. However the "Pueblo " itself but was kept and became, on the instructions of great generalissmo KIM JONG IL , a floating anti-American museum. It was first moored on the River Taedong but later moved to expanded and renovated Fatherland Liberation War Museum.
In 1976 the aggressive fascistic Yank imperialists provoked the Panmumjom incident on the 18th of August . Some swaggering Yankee hooligans tried to chop down a tree on the DPRK side of the Joint Security Area and refused to desist from their provocations when told to stop . A fight ensued between the US troops and KPA personnel on guard duty which left several Americans dead. he U.S. imperialists reinforced updated military equipment and armed forces in and around south Korea, threatening that they would take a "retaliatory step".These war provocation moves on the part of the U.S. imperialists created a tense situation in which a war could have broken out. All the servicepersons of the Korean People's Army, members of the Worker-Peasant Red Guards and Young Red Guards and other people of the DPRK turned out as one and decisively frustrated the enemy's war provocation moves.Comrade KIM JONG IL took steps to crush this provocation of the US imperialists.
In the period of the 1990s after the frustration of socialism in the USSR and the end of the bi-polar international structure the US imperialists arrogantly proclaimed a "New World Order " and run amok to crush remaining socialist countries and those countries that followed the road of anti-imperialist independence. The US imperialists through their marionette the International Atomic Energy Agency planned to stifle Korean-style socialism by means of the so-called "nuclear question ". In March 1993 the US imperialists prodded the IAEA into demanding inspections of non-nuclear DPRK military bases. At the same time they the US imperialists carried out the aggressive Team Spirit miltuary exercises against the DPRK Supreme Commander Marshal KIM JONG IL , a peerless patriot and iron willed brilliant commander ordered the Korean People's Army , Worker Peasant Red Guards and Young Red Guards into a semi-war state and at the same time the DPRK announced its withdrawal from the one sided "Nuclar Non Profileration Treaty ", comrade KIM JONG IL said
“If the US imperialists and the south Korean puppets provoke another war, our people and the People’s Army will fight to the death for the sake of the Party, the leader and our style of people-centred socialism that has been achieved at the cost of their blood, and will thus deal a crushing blow to the aggressors, and raise the dignity and honour of heroic Korea even further. “The enemy must clearly understand that he shall not trample with impunity upon an inch of land or a blade of grass in the DPRK."
This declaration along with order of the semi-war state and the withdrawal from the NPT shook the US imperialists rigid , the whole imperialist world was in a state of panic and did not know what to . They were compelled to stop the "Team Spirit " exercise earlyThe DPRK, a country of some 20 or so million had defeated the US the self-styled sole superpower and the allied forces of world imperialism. This was a victory in a war without gunshots !
A decade or so later the US imperialists reneged on the DPRK-US Agreed Framework that they had been forced to reluctantly conclude with the DPRK . Bush , a senile fool and fascist chief executive of US imperialism , even went so far as to designate the DPRK as a target of pre-emptive nuclear strike. Great generalissimo KIM JONG IL would not tolerate this threat to the existence of the DPRK and insult to its dignity . The DPRK declared its withdrawal from the NPT (which is had previously suspended once the US came to the negotiating table ) , this move sent shivers of fear down the imperialists . Then in 2006 the DPRK conduct its first nuclear test. It was a "nuclear Yongil bomb " , a product of self-reliance , made with 100% DPRK resources and know-how. It was a nuclear thunderbolt of Songun that made the US imperialists act like ants when an anthill is knocked over ! The DPRK became a socialist nuclear power of Juche .Another nuclear test was conducted in 2009 . In the past Korea had become a colony because it did have its own weapons but now Koreans can walk tall and proud with their heads high as possessors of a nuclear deterrent. Great general KIM JONG IL had blown a big hole in US policy which had been to prevent the DPRK at all costs from acquiring a nuclear deterrent. The DPRK had had scored another victory , it had basically won the
duel of reason. This was due to the outstanding commanding abilities of great
general KIM JONG IL , another legendary general of Mt Paektu.
Although generalissimo KIM JONG IL physically on the 17th of December 2011 we recall his great achievements as a great military commander who led the Korean people to victory .
