Kosan Fruit Farm in Kosan County, Kangwon
Province, DPRK is as large as over 100km in circumference.
The farm was found in Juche 36(1947)
according to a far-reading plan of President Kim Il Sung and has been turned
into a socialist paradise thanks to the devoted efforts of leader Kim Jong Il.
In June Juche 98(2009) Kim Jong Il visited the farm with a plan to renovate it and
solved all problems arising in the project from designing to the force of
construction and thus changed the farm beyond recognition.
In June Juche 100(2011), the last year of
his great life he visited the farm again and enjoyed the changed sight of the
farm.
Hearing an anecdote that natives there
would often lose their way, he laughed aloud.
Satisfied to see the splendid fruit
garden, he pointed out that the wonderful change definitely heralds the
approach of brilliant future of a thriving state.
On July 24, Juche 103(2014) the respected
Marshal Kim Jong Un visited the farm, an
embodiment of leader Kim Jong Il’s desire.
The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un said Kim Jong
Il
wrote the first page of the history of Kosan Fruit Farm’s renovation into a
leading young fruit garden.
Like this, the epochal change of Kosan
was brought about by the wise guidance of leader Kim Jong
Il who
felt worth making revolution in the welfare of people.
Now Kosan Fruit Farm is further
developing into a leading fruit production base under the energetic guidance of
Marshal Kim Jong Un.
