The ASSPUK, Juche Idea Study Group of England and the UK Korean Friendship Association today issued a joint statement in support of the response given  the DPRK Foreign Ministry on the demonstrations against racial discrimination in the US:

The US imperialists have , with breathtaking hypocrisy , taken issue with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea over human rights going to the lengths of getting the UN to adopt an extremist resolution on "human rights " in the DPRK . However , our organisations, know full well that it is the US that needs to sort out its human rights problems and not criticise others. This is proven by the events that began on the 9th of August 2014. A young black man Mr Michael Brown who was unarmed at the time was shot dead by a US police officer. Subsequently the US authorities declared that the killing was a "lawful" one and brought no charges against the police officer. This understandably has caused  a great deal of anger amongst people in the US and has led to mass protests . These have been suppressed by armed troops , the fascistic National Guard.
Thus the USA is the worst ever human rights abuser in history. It is a country where people are shot dead by the authorities for having a different skin colour . The USA was founded on the genocide of the native Indians and the slavery of Black people. The US is a deeply fascistic society with many repressive organs such as the CIA, FBI, DHS , National Guard etc. As the DPRK Foreign Ministry statement says Great irony is that the U.S. tries to measure other countries with its wrong human rights standard though it is a typical human rights abuser.
Our organisations, the ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA strongly support the DPRK's correct exposure of the extreme racial discrimination in the USA and massive violation of human rights in the US. We support the stand of the DPRK to protect and enhance the human rights of its people.
