Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- The DPRK Association for Human Rights Studies released a report on the DPR of Korea's policy for ensuring genuine human rights and reality of its people enjoying human rights, sparking great sensation among the international community. A briefing on the report took place at the building of the United Nations headquarters on October 7.
Present at the briefing were at least 150 figures including
diplomatic envoys and those related to human rights of missions of
foreign countries in the UN, representatives of non-governmental human
rights organs and correspondents of the press corps in the UN.
The briefing made general introduction of the purport of the report
released by the DPRK Association for Human Rights Studies and its
contents and referred to the DPR of Korea's principled stand on the
issue of human rights and its efforts for improving popular masses'
enjoyment of human rights. The questions raised were answered.
