Great Flower Garden

Great Flower Garden

June 19 this year marks the 50th anniversary of the start of his work at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea by leader Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Party.
His leadership of the Party recorded impressive stories about the harmonious whole of the leader and people.
In February Juche 82(1993) the Korean peninsula was in a touch-and-go war crisis due to the U.S.-led allied imperialist forces’ nuclear inspection rackets.
To cope with the prevailing situation Kim Jong Il issued an order of the Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army on March 8, Juche 82(1993) on placing the whole country, all the people and the entire army on quasi war footing.
All people rose up with the spirit of annihilating the enemy.
More than one million young people volunteered for military services.
War veterans of 60 and above wanted to join the army again.
Meanwhile, on March 10 two days after the issue of the order of the Supreme Commander presentable demobilized soldiers arrived at a farm on the banks of the Tuman River by another order.
The following is how it happened.
At this farm were 80 girls of youth work teams volunteered after finishing secondary school.
At the farm they did good farming on barren land for many years and thus raised the maize production per hectare from two tons to ten.
Time passed and they reached a marriageable age, however, there were not many young men in the region.
Informed of the data, Kim Jong Il issued another order to send ex-servicemen for the girls, though the situation was tense.
The proclamation of quasi war state and ticket
The above said two orders given by the brilliant commander reflected the disposition of mercilessness to the enemies and the benevolent father for people.
From the day started on the party work, Kim Jong Il always gave priority to the interests of people and looked after all people with his meticulous motherly affection.
Having embodied the noble will of Kim Jong Il, Marshal Kim Jong Un is building the WPK as an eternal flower garden of human love.
