Report of European Regional Seminar on the Juche Idea and Independence

Recently a delegate from the JISGE and ASSPUK attended the successful European Regional Seminar on the Juche Idea and European Independence. It was held in a hotel in a suburb of Rome . The meeting was attended by members of the board of directors the European Regional Society for the Study of the Juche Idea as well a delegation of the Korean Association of Social Scientists and the secretary general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea and his party. There were delegates from Romania, the UK, Russia, Ukraine , Finland, Austria , France and Italy.
Prof Edmond Jouve director general of the European Regional Society for the Study of the Juche Idea opened the meeting . A 2 minute silence was observed for Dr Vishwanath the late director general of the IIJI . Prof Jouve spoke about how he came be to involved in the study of the Juche more than 30 years ago .
Some suggestions were made about future activities including holding future regional seminars and meetings.
In the afternoon members of the leadership of the European Regional Society for the Study of the Juche Idea made speeches. The deputy director general of the Society made a speech praising the lofty and unstinting internationalism of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung , for example the then general secretary of the Communist Party of Ireland Michael O Riordan was visiting the DPRK but suffered ill health so the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung paid a visit on him.
There were excellent speeches from the delegates from the Ukraine and Russia and also Finland . The Russian delegate explained that respected Marshal Kim Jong Un is the outstanding thinker and theoretician. of the modern independence movement.
The chairman of the JISGE said "Although the DPRK and the countries of Europe are very different in terms of history , culture and geographical situation , the basic idea of independence and self-reliance advocated by the Juche idea can be applied in Europe as well , we can kick out the transnational corporations and build an independent national economies that fully serve the needs of the people"(full speech later).
The seminar concluded with the adoption of a message to the dear respected leader Marshal Kim Jong Un
